Dating Site Reviews: Match Vs EHarmony - Which Is Better?
by Big Mama
Match vs eHarmony. Which is better? Each website has its pros and cons -- but one site is significantly better for matchmaking. In 2012, online dating has exploded to become the #1 way of meeting a romantic partner. And 2013 is trending to even higher numbers. While the best way of finding a loving partner is to use the Niche dating sites -- which focus on a community, shared-value platform, such as the BBW, Interracial, Christian, Senior, Military and secure International Bride services -- the as-seen-on-TV Big Box sites continue to draw large memberships. The two biggest online dating sites are Match.com and eHarmony. Which is better? A new website provides reviews for dating sites, and says eHarmony is better for those looking for serious relationships, while Match.com is better for those looking to just start dating. "Match vs eHarmony is a debate that has gone on as long as online dating has been popular," the website owners say. "And the differences are in the details." The website explains that eHarmony is the better choice for daters looking to find a serious partner to be in a long-term, marriage-type relationship with. Why? Because the compatibility testing is much more in depth. The website says the negatives to eHarmony are that the initial sign up takes longer because there are more questions to answer about yourself and your desired partner, and it costs a little bit more green. But the site says that with those things come an onslaught of more serious members who are committed to being committed. "Match.com is still a great community of online daters," Best Dating Websites Reviews explains. It states that if you become a member of Match.com, you are still likely to find people you will enjoy being around. You will still find and go on dates. "How could you not with the amount of members on Match.com?" They say Match has over 20 million members now. The pricing differences for the sites are as follows. Match.com costs $35.99 for one month of standard service. Then you can choose between a standard or premium package which rings in at $19.99 per month for a three month standard package, and $23.99 per month for a premium three month package. The six month packages come to $17.99 per month for the standard package, and $19.99 per month for the six month premium package. The standard package includes full access to the site and the mobile site. The premium package also includes email read notifications so you know when someone has viewed your message, first impressions, and a highlighted profile in the search results. eHarmony's pricing is just a bit higher. It costs $59.95 for a basic one month package, $39.95 per month for a basic three month package, $29.95 per month for six months, and $19.95 per month for twelve months. Their premium package is called their Total Connect package, and three months of that is $44.95 per month, six months is $33.95 per month, and twelve months is $23.95 per month. Basic plans give full access to eHarmony's site, Best Dating Websites Reviews explains. And the Total Connect packages add a Premium Personality Profile, Secure Call, RelyID, and Profile Advisor (you can read more about these features in the site's full eHarmony review). So for matchmaking, the site says the cake most definitely goes to eHarmony. And anyone looking to sign up and find their mate should give it an honest try.
